When I was in High School, I took every multimedia course I could and my teacher even invented a self-paced Photography course for me.  The school I went to paid for me to attend a college Photography course because I took all they offered.

When I looked at something, I saw beauty and composition that many never noticed.  I really enjoyed many small details of something that seemed insignificant.  I loved photography because I felt like I could help others see what I saw. 

Another passion that I had while in High School was pursuing God relentlessly.  I wanted to know Him and His love so deeply.  One day while reading the Bible, I immediately felt like God asked me to help everyone on earth know Him.  I looked into a school that would help me do that and decided to go.  Many amazing things happened so that I could attend.  I loved it.

I did give up my dream to become a professional photographer though.  I never regret that I chose to obey God rather than run after my passion.  I am so thankful that I am healthier and know God better and am making a significant positive impact in people's lives.

Just recently, I started to dream about my career with Photography.  I prayed about it and God showed me that I would be successful.  So far God has provided for every step of the way.  I needed a camera and I am able to use a Canon D20 from a friend until I can afford my own.  I needed a website and the person who checks me in at my gym offered to create it for me for free.  We are in the process of developing it now.  I needed clients and so far I have had one definte confirmation and some bites.  I have a friend who owns a vineyard near by and I was talking with friends about how it would be nice to take engagement sessions at her place.  The next day, she asked me if I could be her photographer at Weddings that she would have there.  I needed to be brought up to speed on the industry and so many wonderful photographers have offered their expertise on their websites and I have checked out several books from the library and it is so amazing at how I am understanding everything I'm learning. 

Jesus said that whatever we give up for Him, He would repay 100 times in this life and we would also be blessed when we get to heaven!  I can see that because I chose to give up my dream in order to serve Him, He is blessing me abundantly. 

He also showed me that so many people would come to know Him, through my business.  I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity.  It is really great how God put the desire on my heart so many years ago and how it is now becoming very vital in my quest to serve and honor him!  It's kind of like Abraham being willing to kill his long awaited for son, in obedience to God and then the angel stopping him because God just wanted to see His obedience.  Then through that one son, many, many, many people were added to his family physically and now through faith in Jesus many are also included in His family.  I love God so much and am so grateful that He is my Lord and Savior!

I hope that this blog excites so many people who have given all to Jesus!  He is so worth it!
